We picked up the most beautiful stuff from a million $$$ condo on Lake Shore Dr. In the city. I'm talking killer stuff!!! Baker chairs, buffet and armoire and it's the very desirable shabby chic kinda stuff. Some magnificent lamps, a writing desk with executive chair. Really good looking classic furniture. Then we made a fantastic pickup in Barrington and it too was a 10 on the scale of gorgeous furniture. Super queen bedroom set and a tremendous dining room set. Got this stuff just in time for you to get it in your home for the holiday season.

Wow is about all I can say about this stuff. An absolutely gorgeous Mt. Erie dining room set with table, 8 chairs, buffet and a china cabinet. Also got in a granite top table with 6 stainless steel chairs - fantastic looking stuff along with 4 counter height stools. And finally a Henredon dresser which is also A magnificent piece of furniture. Get in here now to see it.

This stuff from Schaumburg is decent. It's all in great condition. A really nice mahogany desk, a very cool looking contemporary queen bedroom set and a set of faux leather. It's really nice faux leather though.

The stuff from Arlington Hts. has hardly ever been sat on. This came from a home that was used only occasionally from the time it was furnished just 3 years ago. So in other words. The stuff is still like new. Several Lay Z Boy pieces, sofa, recliner and a sleeper sofa along with some awesome accent tables.

I know, I know, it's been a long time since I've left a post on the blog. I've had a lot going on. It's not like we haven't had some great stuff coming into the store either. We've been swamped with nice furniture coming in. Yesterday we picked up a full truck load on the north shore. I mean super stuff, like a 9 or 10 for sure. We have a gorgeous Berhardt sofa, a pair of MAGNIFICENT Henredon arm chairs With a matching ottoman from Marshall Fields, a Chippendale dining room set table & 6 chairs, a queen bedroom set in solid mahogany, a really nice leather sofa and love seat And lots, lots more. This is one of those really good pick ups that we only see once a month or so.

If you like quality furniture, get in here right away. This stuff will go fast.

Okay, so here's a treat for all you Treasure Hunt shoppers and potential shoppers. I just got us a load of beautiful leather pieces. Sofas, love seats, sets, chairs, club chairs is an assortment of good looking tones. All of these are overstock from some of the big brand stores that we can't mention. Get in here right away and get a look at this stuff. We get leather like this maybe 6 or 8 times a year and we sell it fast because it's price WAY below retail. Yep, we picked up a bunch of antiques tables and living room furniture today. Really nice, but we've been moving away from antiques. These look really good though so I thought I'd give them a go. Keith will get the pictures up tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, we're going to be picking up a load of great furniture that was in a condo lobby. This stuff looks like new. Really beautiful stuff to. Very high end condo, really nice lobby furniture. Those pictures may not be posted until the weekend though.

Picked up a bunch of stuff from a really nice house in Lake In The Hills. Nice sofa, a gorgeous dining room set and a bedroom set, queen 7 piece. No brand names that I noticed. Today we're getting in a dining room set from Palatine. Also really nice. This one is probably gonna be marked low cause we have a bunch of dining rooms in the store right now.

Nothing really remarkable came in today. Picked up a bunch of hotel furniture that'll sell pretty cheap and fast, but aside from that today was quiet. We really are loaded with the goods heading into the weekend. I'm even impressed with the stuff we have in our showroom right now. Hope to see you all in my store this weekend. Wow, this stuff's gonna blow your mind. Won't be in until later this afternoon, so stop in this evening or tomorrow morning to get a look at it. We're getting in an eight piece King size Ethan Allen bedroom set that's mint, a queen size bedroom set by Bernhardt, a three piece living room table set by Ethan Allen (outstanding) and an Ethan Allen dining room set consisting of a cherry table, 6 chairs, leafs and a magnificent china / curio cabinet. Picture should be up no later than Thursday. Gotta rank this one pretty high, maybe 4 1/2 stars.

Custom dining table & 6 chairs from Plunkett. It's absolutely beautiful glass top table on a sturdy pair of bronze pedestals with a magnificent faux patina finish. The six chairs are burgundy parsons chairs. To go with it, we have the most incredible server/wine server with a marble top. I really like this set.

We just got in a tremendous load of fine furniture in today. We got in pieces by Henredon, Baker, Stickley and some really super pieces from Widdecombe Furniture Co. You don't see furniture like this very often. I can say that simply because as much furniture as I see on a daily basis, it's rare that I see this kind of furniture. Hurry in....... This stuff won't last. I'll get pictures on the website as soon as possible. Sorry for the delay with the pictures but I'm taking a long weekend. Alright, first day back and I brought in 2 very nice bedroom sets. One is a queen sleigh bed with dresser & night stand, the other is this massive king four poster set. Really a magnificent couple of bedroom sets. The store is laid out really nice and neat now for the upcoming holiday weekend, so plan a visit. Buyer's Vacation Break

Yep folks the buyer is taking a little time off from the daily grind of bringing fantastic furniture buys to our shoppers. Not that it's a grind. I love it, I honestly do. I'm just taking a well needed trip with the family. Fear not though, we're still going to be stocking our floor with new furniture each day while I'm gone. See, I of course knew that I'd be gone for a week, so I loaded up our back room with some of the nicest stuff I've seen in months. We've got a huge supply of magnificent furniture in our back room and as we gain room on the showroom floor, we'll just move it up.

Come on in and look around the showroom, and you're even welcome to go through the orange doors, into the warehouse area and see whats staged to be moved up front. The stuff back there doesn't have prices on it, but simply ask an associate for a price.

Okay, I'm gonna get back to my piña colada. See y'all in a week or so.

Today we made a 1/2 truck pick up in Vernon Hills. Some pretty nice stuff, I'd give it about 3 stars out of 5. A very nice cast iron patio set, a couple nice sofas and end tables. Watch this spot tomorrow. We're getting a truck load from Oakbrook. Fantastic Stuff!!
